Time Flies!!


The year of 2022 started in the worst imaginable way here. There were many trials in the ensuing months , but there were many triumphs as well.


Going into the new year, there are so many social media posts about financial breakthroughs, new jobs, new homes, new cars, and the like. As entrepreneurs, we look for the growth of our business enterprises. Of course, there are the obligatory "New Year, New Me" posts.


Perhaps the greatest triumph of all for TravPortUSA has not been financial or physical or even tangible.


The TravPortUSA family of brands was created in 2018 with one ideal: To become iconic.


This led to the creation of brand names for different travel niches and the taglines associated with them. It was also of vital importance to create solid content.


But what purpose does any of that serve without people to share it with?


Through Twitter, the brand was able to gain a steady following, but the engagement has been found lacking. One of the big highlights has been a sizeable following from the United Kingdom on the cruise page along with a connection with some UK YouTube vloggers. In the JourneyNow niche, there has been success in making online connections with boutique properties and vendors.


The Facebook pages gained small followings beginning in 2019. Some success was achieved in connecting with people through running ads and ensuring a steady stream of content with BranchUp feeds.


It wasn't until early December that TravPortUSA struck pure gold by getting in on the incredible networking opportunities available on Facebook. With the continued popularity of cruising and the successful return of service, the cruise page (VoyageNow) was chosen as the springboard for engaging with people and business pages on the platform.


Thankfully, the response has been overwhelming, and it's not because the number of followers has in creased from 125-135 to now pushing towards 500. The level of organic engagement, interaction, and involvement is what gives meaning to the brand. Moreover, the connection with others is the most satisfying aspect of this venture.


The year may have started out in a shambles, but 2022 goes out with a BANG!
